Singapore Polytechnic students: go for the SP Drama showcase this Friday from 1pm to 2pm. You will not regret it. I personally liked the second play better since the first play was actually meant for children. "The Uninvited Guest" talks of a girl who locks herself in the toilet on the day of her wedding. As she struggles with her herself, she also struggles with the existence of God. "Nice" is not adequate enough to describe the story.

Go watch it. If I like it, then it's really good. Even SP Theatre Compass can't satisfy me but they could so they must be really good. The acting was good and the stories were very ministering.

Oh yah, one line that "God" from the second play said which spoke volumes to me...
"I'm not here to hurt you; you do that pretty well on your own." How true is that. The lines also touched on "why did God create bad things?", which "God" rebuked by saying that the absence of God causes good things to be abused because whatever God creates is good.

Oh yah, did I mention that "God" is female in the play??

I just laid hands on George Orwell's "Nineteen Eighty-four"!! Whoo!! I love books that mirror political differences. *Grin*
