It happened this morning. My dad woke me up by telling me that my grandmother has passed away. We were expecting it but it still came as a surprise to all of us. And it hurts as well. Thank God that she went home peacefully in her sleep. I guess this is the best way to die. And thank God this time, the family was united. We didn't quarrel and argue over which kind of wake to hold for her. Like what my second uncle said, it's not the form of the service and rituals but our knowledge that she is in Heaven with God.

This time, I felt at peace, having seen my grandmother's walk from not knowing Christ to knowing Him and then to baptism. She's home with the Lord and it definitely is a better place than here. 80 years have been more than enough. Thank You Lord for bringing her home so peacefully.

Her body's resting at Blk 5A Jalan Batu Road. It's opposite Lasalle SIA and behind Dunman High and Singapore Swimming Club. The body is temporal and it has fulfilled its purpose. *Smile* And I know I'll see her one day.
