Ra Ra!!!
Today was like totally fruitful?? For one thing, I didn't spend today slacking at home so I'm so thankful that God found something for me to do. Headed over to Jerelyn's place after I got out of zombified mode and did some painting. *Shhh....* Some 'particular' someones' Christmas presents.. Which reminds me, I need to crack my brains over Christmas presents and spend money on the people I love. Christmas is such a festival of giving and seeing the joy on the faces of the people you love. Best of all, we reflect on the love of God, the amazing fact that on Christmas day, Christ came to this earth in the mortal form to pay our price for us. A love that speaks beyond any words...
Words? I'm broadening my vocabulary to prepare myself for the SAT test next year... *Phew* And school's starting next week? When did time fly past me?
"When you're in the Father's house
You can find such blessed assurance"
-Sandy Patti's 'In His Presence'-
My grandmother's going to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. She's real weak now, her body's suffering from diabetes, kidney failure and the inability to produce RBC. And the cute thing? She doesn't seem to realise that she's sick. I was telling my mom that it's a good thing since "ignorance is bliss". But my mom actually replied that "ignorance is kind of depressing as well". [In Chinese, it's "bei1 ai1"] It sets me thinking about the true meaning behind "ignorance is bliss". Does staying ignorant of things save you? But I thought that "curiosity kills the cat?" Aren't we go born to be private detectives ourselves? Or does the truth don't matter anymore?
