The Jesus Thief
I'm on this book titled "The Jesus Thief". And it talks about a Jewish man who stole threads from the Shroud of Jesus (The piece of cloth that covered Jesus when he 'died') so as to clone a baby with the DNA of Jesus. In the entire process, he begins to find himself and find Christ. What's ironical is that he has been brought up in a Catholic home but he has never exactly found Christ.
Guess it does happen to us too. We got so engrossed in our routine and our work that we have forgotten to seek and find Him.
"You gotta fall upon your knees
Cry out for your Maker
He will hear you
Coz He's your secret place
Fall upon your knees
Bow before your Maker
He will deliver you
Coz He's your secret place"
My wound from the Sentosa trip is starting to hurt quite badly. It's getting all pus-y and bloody... and my foot gets stuck everywhere.. Pus dries fast.
If a small wound of a skin tear can hurt so much, how much more will a nail though your palm hurt?
CG's having small "discussion" again. This time, it's on when to have cell group. We never learn do we? If I'm Royston, I would have pull out all my hair by now. If we have to do this every 6 months, I might really consider joining an adult cell and hear them talk about their children.. Then again, maybe not.
The past 2 months in Woody really taught me the importance of rest. Right now, I'm all so charged up to go for Him!! No more the "huh... again" feeling but the "Lord!! I'm here! Send me!!" attitude. Told Sam that he can call me anytime they need people to serve in Woody MS. HAHA!! Joycelyn's done resting so much. Time for some action. TAKE THAT satan... *punch* Now, I'm going to rest more than I serve, don't want to let go of this fire again!!!
LOVE YA JESUS!!!
